Before I painted this guy (who I've decided to name Chester) - I was taking a zoom call while sitting on my back deck.

The conversation turned to my art, and if art was my purpose in this life. At that very moment - a Black Cockatoo screeched over the top of me and perched itself in a low hanging branch of a tree only a few metres from where I sat.

This is the first and only Black Cockatoo I have ever seen in the wild since moving to the South Coast - interesting because my town "Nowra" is the Aboriginal word for Black Cockatoo.

Call it a sign? I don't know but I sure felt compelled to paint one after that magical experience

Chester took me way longer to paint than I'd care to admit, but I put my heart and soul into him and he means more to me than just paint on a canvas.

Paper prints

Paper prints are printed onto Centurion Photo Silk 285 Satin paper. A beautiful deep rich colour, semi-gloss finish with strong archival qualities.

Postage

A4 and A3 prints will be packaged in a rigid envelope, A2-A1 prints will be rolled and sent in a rigid mailing tube.

All prints are printed and posted directly from my print lab in NSW please allow 7-14 days to receive your made to order print.
