I saw a beautiful Fairy wren pair in the garden whilst enjoying a night out for my birthday recently, they inspired me to paint this little cutie. I thoroughly enjoyed painting on this linen canvas and the way the paint danced on the surface to create lovely patterns on his wings and chest feathers.
