'Swifty' the Swift Parrot

'Swifty' is a beautiful Aussie native Swift Parrot. A bird that visits the Shoalhaven where I live- annually, but sadly is critically endangered. I wanted to paint this cool little bird (fastest parrot in the world!) to bring some attention to their desperate plight, and this guy was my entry into my local art prize Escape Artfest 2019.

There are many many layers of thinned acrylic paint that make up the feathers in this guy, the vibrant colours of his plumage pop beautifully against the navy background and faded Melaleuca bush leaves.!

Paper prints

Paper prints are printed onto Centurion Photo Silk 285 Satin paper. A beautiful deep rich colour, semi-gloss finish with strong archival qualities.

Postage

A4 and A3 prints will be packaged in a rigid envelope, A2-A1 prints will be rolled and sent in a rigid mailing tube.

All prints are printed and posted directly from my print lab in NSW please allow 7-14 days to receive your made to order print.
